Hi! My name is Brittany and I am a 2nd grade teacher. I was uprooted from my
home in Louisiana about a year ago when my hubby Craig and I moved to Utah, along with our black lab Jack. (By the way, we just adopted another black lab, Tux, and these puppies are the center of my world!) I
spend my time doing what I love--teaching!--and trying to bring some southern
charm to my new home. I am definitely the biggest LSU fan in Utah {Geaux Tigers!} and I've loved turning my students into LSU fans, too!
Our cross-country adventure began when Craig decided to go to graduate school in Utah. We moved out here not knowing a soul and having no clue what we were in for. Well. It has been such a wonderful experience! There is no place like Louisiana and I certainly get homesick now and again, but I couldn't be more blessed. I landed a job at an amazing school and I've been so warmly welcomed into this community. That's how this whole blogging thing started...my sweet friend Linsdey has been on me about doing this forever! So with her support and the encouragement of that hubby of mine, I've decided to give it a try.
